Lime Application

This application helps balance your pH to favor grass growth and development. It also creates an environment where weeds do not thrive. A healthy soil deepens roots and strengthens the turf to survive the hot summer months.

Grub Control Application

Grubs are the larvae of the Japanese beetle. This stage of the beetle life cycle feeds on the roots of the grass plant therefore severing the plants’ ability to take in nutrients and water. The grub control material wards off this activity and allow the turf to enjoy the fall months.

Flea, Tick & Mosquito Application

Our natural approach is used to control ticks, mosquitoes, fleas, gnats, ants, aphids, centipedes, chinch bugs, earwigs, millipedes, mites, spiders, whiteflies and other nuisance insects on contact. Our application is safer to use around children, pets, and wildlife.

Nutsedge Application

Nutsedge is a third classification of grasses that is becoming more prevalent in lawns. It is the lighter green color plant that grows higher than your grass. Unfortunately, the traditional weed control will not eradicate this plant. Grass Roots turf care does include this application in its weed care program.

Core Aeration & Seeding

Is the best way to thicken your yard. Grass Roots Turf Care emphasizes core and seeding your property every fall. This time of year, is the best time to seed. The soil temperatures are warm, and all cool season grassy types love to germinate in warm soil during the fall season.

Slit Seeding

If you have a completely bare ground, Grass Roots Turf Care may slit seed your property which is a denser process of seeding compared to the core aeration process. Slit seeding cuts a thin fine grove in the soil no more than a sixteenth of an inch and drops seed in rows. Grass Roots employ a criss cross pattern to further hasten the density of the yard.
